Our seminar “Digital and Sustainable Marketing” organized by Meike Kietzmann, M.Sc., and Lea Heitlinger, M.Sc., had its highlight. We had the pleasure to listen to exciting presentations of the students.

ChatGPT is the talk of the town. It can create dialogs and compose texts, finds information on demand and does all this at an incredibly fast speed. But how precisely does ChatGPT work and what development steps does it still need to be usable in companies? What does the future hold for ChatGPT?

Prof. Dr. Dr. Stock-Homburg invited to the workshop by the Forum Interdisciplinary Research (FIF) and Department of Law and Economics (FB1) at the leap in time Lab on „Responsible Interaction With Anthropomorphic Robots: An Interdisciplinary Challenge“.

As part of the Human Resources Management lecture, Dr. Pia Lünstrot and Nina Grochowitzki, both partners of HKP group, were invited to TU Darmstadt to speak about the topic of compensation. After briefly introducing themselves, they continue by presenting HKP’s working areas.

A joint research of the chair of Marketing and Human Resource Management, Prof. Dr. Dr. Stock-Homburg, Department of Law and Economics, Institute for Business Administration and the chair of Intelligent Autonomous Systems, Prof. Dr. Peters, Computer Science Department addresses the dynamics of Human-Robot Interaction.

At the beginning of the year, Prof. Dr. Dr. Stock-Homburg enabled three of our colleagues to present their research at the 56th Hawaii International Conference on System Science (HICSS). Our papers emerged from the research areas of user innovation, robot-human interaction, team performance, and communication.

Dr. Hanno Meier, Principal and Member of the Management Board of CBC, and Karoline Suss, Senior Manager of CBC, were invited to TU Darmstadt to share guiding principles of leadership within the context of the Leadership lecture. They start by presenting their working area.

We are proud to announce that our research paper “Good Robot, Bad Robot: Customer Responses to Norm-Compliant and Norm-Violating Service Robots” has received the “Best Paper Award”…

Our andoid robot, Elenoide, worked for eight weeks with several groups on a project for innovative products in the research laboratory of leap in time GmbH. This project work took place in cooperation with Dietmar Eidens and Karsten Hofrichter from Merck Group. The project teams integrated Elenoide into their team. They discussed the tasks with her and dealt with Elenoide's solution approaches. They also involved Elenoide in leisure discussions during the breaks.

A new practice article co-authored by Prof. Stock-Homburg on robots in organizational teams was published in the German journal PERSONALFÜHRUNG.

The topic of our WS 2022/23 semester has been decided. It will be about Digital & Sustainable Marketing. Social media experts and influencers will accompany us in this seminar. The paper can be written in English as well as in German. Both Bachelor and Master students are welcome. You can find more information on the flyer:

leap in time is looking for students and office workers who can support us with the testing of innovative technologies in the leap in time Lab in Darmstadt.

Currently, the Faculty of Law and Economics does not offer exam insights in attendance. If the incidence of infection permits, a gradual opening and exam insights are planned from January onwards, first for selected groups (5.0) and then for all students. This regulation applies to all exams at our department. This year, we will also no longer be able to offer digital exam insights.
