New research project "SANDRA“
Funding of 1.4 Million Euro
The Department of Marketing & Human Resource Management is involved in a new research project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the European Social Fund. In the research project “SANDRA – Gestaltung der Arbeitswelt der Zukunft durch Erreichbarkeitsmanagement", the Department of Marketing & Human Resource Management cooperates with researchers from Fraunhofer IAO, University of Kassel, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Stuttgarter Hochschule der Medien and the two organizations AGILeVIA and AK Reprotechnik. The goal of the interdisciplinary research project is to develop organizational and technological solutions for the problem of constant availability to improve employees' work-life balance.

Latest Research Findings presented in a Video
The latest research findings by Prof. Ruth Stock-Homburg (TU Darmstadt), Prof. Nicolas Zacharias (TU Darmstadt) and Dr. Armin Schnellbächer (TU Darmstadt), answering the question „How do Strategy and Leadership Styles Jointly Affect Co-Development and its Innovation Outcomes?“ now are also illustrated in a video. The video is part of the publication of the corresponding paper in the Journal of Product Innovation Management.
Impressions of the Innovation Workshop with Prof. Eric von Hippel
The Research Pillar Innovation & Growth and the MIT Sloan School of Management hosted the Innovation Workshop “How to Get Innovations for Free?!” on 23rd September 2016 in the Leap in Time Lab, Darmstadt. As a main part of this event our special guest, Prof. Eric von Hippel (MIT Sloan School of Management), presented his new book “Free Innovation” and gave an insight into his research. Paper honored with the 2015 Best of Visions Award
Dr. Jin Gerlach, Prof. Ruth Stock-Homburg and Prof. Peter Buxmann received the 2015 Best of Visions Award of the Visions Magazine (Product Development and Management Association) for their paper “How 'Status Quo Products' Can Make Digital Innovations Fail.” (Visions, 39, 1, 6-9).
Hessen State Minister Boris Rhein visits the Leap in Time Lab
On 7th September 2016, the Hessen State Minister for Higher Education, Research and the Arts, Boris Rhein, visited the Leap in Time Lab which opened at the beginning of 2016 as a Spin-Off of TU Darmstadt. Hereby, Hessen State Minister Boris Rhein visited the three future working environments that are exhibited in the Leap in Time Lab and discussed recent innovative research projects. Third Darmstadt Innovation Summit
The Research Pillar Innovation & Growth hosted the Third Darmstadt Innovation Summit on 23rd June 2016 in the Leap in Time Lab, Darmstadt, promoting the international knowledge transfer in the area of innovation and growth. As part of this event two special guests, Prof. Gloria Barczak (D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University) and Prof. Gerard Tellis (USC Marshall School of Business), participated and gave an insight into their research fields about innovation.
